High-Speed Electric Mobility Across Europe
The joint venture is a proud contributor to the "High-Speed Electric Mobility Across Europe" Project, benefitting from co-funding courtesy of the European Commission's Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) program.
The project is guided by the following objectives:
Deploying ultra-charging sites along the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) Core network, with each site featuring either one terminal allowing the simultaneous charging of two electric vehicles (EVs) or a minimum of two ultra-charging terminals for electric cars. This expansive deployment covers six Member States: Sweden, Denmark, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and Italy;
Implementing the necessary technical and contractual requirements to achieve interoperability between networks at the pan-European level. This commitment involves ensuring that customer-oriented products and access solutions are delivered conveniently and in a cost-efficient manner;
Introducing an innovative financial model that incorporates various financing streams. Furthermore, it embraces a strengthened market approach towards Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and EV drivers, offering not only ultra-charging services but also a comprehensive portfolio of end-user services and products.
The ultra-fast charging sites operated in Norway fall outside the funding scope of this initiative.
